| Allegrippis | Located at picturesque Raystown Lake, the Allegrippis Trail System was built by the IMBA (International Mountain Bicycling Association)
with the help of several local and state organizations. The trail system flows extremely well, especially the trails east of 7 Points Rd. - they are smooth,
fast and have many long sections with rolling hills that give it a pump-track feel. A visit here is well worth the trip.
If you are planning an overnight stay, Raystown Lake has nice campground with a large number of sites. In addition to the excellent mountain biking trails,
Raystown Lake is also a popular destination for hiking, boating, fishing, and other water activities. | | 30 Miles |
| Rothrock State Forest | Located just east of State College, Rothrock State Forest is a wilderness area with over 100 miles of
gravel roads, doubletrack trails, technical singletrack, and hiking trails. There are several overlooks on trails throughout the
forest providing views of the surrounding countryside.
Note: Most of the gravel roads are open to motorized traffic. Use caution when travelling on these roads. | | 100 Miles |
