Location: Charlottesville, VA
Description: Located in Albemarle County Virginia, just west of Charlottesville, the 500 acre Mint Springs Valley Park makes for a challenging mountain bike and hiking destination. It has about 5 miles of rocky, hilly singletrack. The singletrack at Mint Springs is not for the faint of heart. Be prepared for some steep climbs that will get your heart pumping. The numerous rocky sections will keep even the advanced mountain biker on their toes. It's a picturesque park, just be prepared for some very technical sections and some hike-a-bike areas.

In addition to the trails, Mint Springs also offers a trout-stocked lake, swimming, a small beach, picnic areas, and a playground for the kids.

Directions: Take I64 Exit 107 to merge onto US-250 East. Go for 1.7 miles and turn left at VA-240. Go 1.4 miles and turn left at Railroad Ave. Go for 1 mile and veer right at Mint Springs Road. Go .7 miles and turn left at Mint Springs Park. After the entrance station, go to the back parking lot. The trailhead is at the back of the parking lot.
