Seneca Creek Greenway Trail Information
Location: Germantown, MD
Description: The Seneca Creek Greenway is a 26 mile trail that follows the beautiful Great Seneca Creek. The 16 mile southern section of the trail is limited to hiking only, and is primarily located within Seneca Creek State Park. The 9 mile northern section (beginning at Rt. 355) is open to biking, equestrian and hiking. This section is easy singletrack with some intermediate sections. It continues on into Magruder Branch and Damascus Parks as a paved trail.

Note: There are a few road crossings along the trail. Use caution at these intersections.

Directions: Trailheads are located at various spots along the way. One popular place to park is at the parking lot right off of Rt 355. Take I-495 Exit for I-270I-270/Rockville/Frederick. Go 2.3 miles. Merge onto I-270 North and go 8.5 miles. Take exit 11 onto MD-124. Go .5 miles and turn left onto North Frederick Ave. Go 1.4 miles and turn right into parking lot.
