Brandywine Creek State Park Information
Location: Wilmington, DE
Description: Formerly owned by the du Pont family, this 900 acre parcel of land became a state park in 1965. It is a mix of picturesque open meadows and wooded sections with a network of about 15 miles of trails throughout.

Canoeing and fishing in Brandywine Creek are popular activities in the park as are hiking and mountain biking the trails to the north of the creek. For more mountain biking, check out the Woodlawn Trustees trail network which has several connectors into the park and spans a large portion of the Brandywine Valley.

Directions: From I-95, take exit 8 for US-202/Concord Pike. Stay let at the fork and follow US-202. Go 4 miles and turn left onto Rocky Run Parkway. Go .3 miles and turn left onto Woodlawy Rd. Go 1/2 mile and turn left onto Thompsons Bridge Rd. Go .8 miles and turn left into the park.
