Lums Pond State Park Description
Lums Pond State Park, located 20 minutes south of Newark, Delaware, features a 200 acre freshwater pond popular
for fishing and boating. A 7 mile hiking trail along the perimiter of the pond affords picturesque views of the water. In addition to the
hiking trail, the park also has a 10 mile multi-use trail. Note that this trail can be quite boggy in places, and is impassable by bicycle in these areas.
It is probably geared more towards equestrian use
The park has a campground next to the lake, and several picnic areas throughout the park.
