Allamuchy - Deer Park Description
Comprising about 14 miles of mostly intermediate singletrack trails, the Deer Park section of Allamuchy State Park
is a great place for the intermediate rider to
refine their skills. Much of the trail network consists of moderately rocky sections interspersed some smooth stretches of trail. If you prefer a rockier ride,
venture to the northern section of Allamuchy, which contains miles upon miles of extremely rugged terrain and is recommended for an advanced level rider.
Or, for additional intermediate level trails head over to Stephens State Park, which borders Allamuchy Natural Area to the east.
Be aware that the trails here are multi-use. Bikes should always yield to equestrians and give these riders a heads-up if you come up from behind. Horses
spook easily when they see bikes.
